Master of Arts in Worship Studies – Church Planting

Students who choose this specialization are trained in many of the same classes as church planting pastors. This unique educational experience allows the lead teaching pastor and worship leader to develop theological foundations, biblically-based philosophies of ministry and ministry methodology — together. This specialization also includes training in the biblical and theological foundations of worship, biblical leadership techniques, pastoral-staff relations, the varying roles of the worship leader, the ongoing relationship to global worship, the personal life of the leader and techniques for building a balanced worship ministry.

The blended degree format combines online study with on-campus study at Liberty University. This unique format allows you to complete some of your coursework from a distance, while also giving you the opportunity to study from our Lynchburg, Virginia campus, located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Through the blended format, you get to experience the best of both worlds – the convenience of flexible, online education mixed with intensive study and face-to-face interaction with professors and fellow students on Liberty's campus.
