Doctor of Ministry

Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry program provides students with opportunities to reinforce and refine their ministry skills. The program helps men and women develop a deeper understanding of biblical principles and strategies in order to effectively serve in a variety of pastoral roles. Students are given the opportunity to interact with a variety of recognized church leaders to increase their vision and deepen their understanding of the purpose and goals in ministry. The degree is well-suited for pastors, missionaries and other church leaders seeking the opportunity for professional and personal growth. A six-credit-hour thesis is required, as well as on-campus intensives.

*Blended Degree Programs

The blended degree format combines online study with on-campus study at Liberty University. This unique format allows you to complete some of your coursework from a distance, while also giving you the opportunity to study from our Lynchburg, Virginia campus, located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Through the blended format, you get to experience the best of both worlds – the convenience of flexible, online education mixed with intensive study and face-to-face interaction with professors and fellow students on Liberty's campus.
